HOLMWOOD GARDENS
Holmwood Gardens consists of three 1 bed flats and thirteen 2 bed flats, we also have three bungalows on the same premises.
Holmwood Gardens have been supporting adults with learning disabilities since 2016. We can provide individuals with all aspects of life from personal care, daily living skills and social inclusion. We offer all different kinds of support packages from a few hours to 24 hour care.
The staff from Holmwood Gardens thrive from knowing they are providing meaningful care and support to their clients to the best of their abilities.
DAY CENTRE
AT HOLMWOOD GARDENS
Offering private day service opportunities for adults with disabilities. Holmwood Gardens is a privately run day centre offering a friendly service and a wide range of activities and opportunities for adults with disabilities.
Our day centre is based on the site of our supported living project and situated in between the two main buildings. The facilities are wheelchair friendly and based on ground level. We have a kitchen that offers hot & cold drinks. We do not, however, provide lunch, so if you wish to stay for the day ensure you bring your lunch with you. The day centre has experienced staff who will assist at meal times and should you need their help our staff will also assist with personal care.
Some of the opportunities we provide to participate in include gardening, arts and crafts, day trips and cooking, all in a safe and friendly environment. If you, or someone you know, would enjoy coming to Holmwood Gardens to make new friends and try new things come and pay us a visit. We are open Monday to Friday from 9am until 4pm, including college holidays. Please contact us for more information.

At Holmwood Gardens it is important for each individual to be as involved in their day to day plans as much as possible and make their own choices where they can. Helping to promote the independence of each person based on their own aspirations play a big role in helping to create a feeling of self-worth and pride.
HOLMWOOD GARDENS SUCCESS STORIES
We have had a client move in with a 24-hour care package. Over the past few years, we have supported this client to become more independent and have developed their daily living skills. Working on travel training to access the community on their own and this was successful as they are now supported over 8 hours a day. We had a client move in who was peg fed but with hard and competent work from all staff that work with the individual they now eat!
